We wanted a challenge. We are interested in the product, knowing what it could potentially do, and introduce you to a holistic approach. We offer all-natural remedies to help ease common and difficult symptoms.
There are so many different ways hemp can be utilized that isn't out there yet. Hemp is strong, resilient, beautiful, and intriguing. We also want to (hopefully) one day, find a perfect solution to easing symptoms of the ASD ( Autism Spectrum Disorder ), TBI ( Traumatic Brain Injury ), and SPD ( Sensory Processing Disorders ). We can't cure it, but we can try to help it.
If there were options out there to try because your loved one isn't getting relief, would you be willing to try and make them more comfortable? Of course, why wouldn't you want to try? That is a large reason we are looking for ways to try a different approach, legally of course. We have seen first-hand, the effects these disorders have on the body. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do to eliminate symptoms, but there are ways to help remediate them. Why not naturally? Medications and prescriptions have so many side effects, and to think we don't know what is in all of the medications we are prescribed. We want to find something NATURAL to fit the acute symptoms (which are likely bigger than that for you, that's just what you were told), and more of an extreme symptom relief (even if someone with these symptoms can't tell you, but you know they are uncomfortable).
We chose, and choose to not use harmful chemicals, pesticides, or fertilizers because we want the experience of using CBD to be all natural. If we don't want it in our body, we will not allow you to put it in yours. There are some legalities and hoops to jump through, to label a product "organic", but we are starting the few years process. (I will work on finding an article that explains this in layman's terms and post it in our "interesting reads").
We also see how under-rated the ability hemp has in many different facets. We want to bring out the best of the most potentials hemp has to offer, battling the misconceptions hemp has. Hemp has a negative outlook because many people associate it with marijuana. Hemp looks like it, smells like it, and tastes like it but they are two different type of plants. You do not take a marijuana seed and grow hemp, you grow marijuana; You don't take a hemp seed and grow marijuana, you grow hemp. They are "technically" the same species with different names for cannabis. The differentiating factor is the amount of THC each of the two plants contain. The law separates the definition of hemp and marijuana, even though science does not. Science sees all the components the same except for THC levels- more research needs to be done on hemp because it is starting to shine again.
Hemp could be used for building homes, plastics, food products, textiles, papers, and so much more!! Why could hemp be beneficial to our society? Hemp is a quick growing plant with strength and durability; trees are slow growing with strength. We definitely need trees for many reasons so why not use something that is quick growing, instead of felling so many trees? It could be used for making ropes and construction material for building homes. It could be used for making paper; hemp used to be used for making paper for important documents. The hemp plant can be extremely resourceful with very minimal waste, but the research is very minimal. We are on the course for working to help researchers deflect some cost because there is so much research left to do.
These things are important to us and ultimately want to make a difference in many people's lives, naturally, while also trying to educate on hemp.
We are a local Germantown family with 5 boys. We have chickens, peacocks, and our dog, Lily. We enjoy being outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping, and having fun- are what we enjoy most!
We are a hardworking couple that enjoy staying busy, but still having fun. We love fishing on the waters with bobbers or lures, or a Lake Michigan trip for trout and salmon. We also enjoy ice fishing. We have a camper that we prefer to take to county parks because it is more serene and beautiful. Yes, we have one big enough for all the boys to come with. We both bow and gun hunt (waiting for the big kahuna to come walking by still...).
Our chickens are like dogs that "buck buck". We have beggars, grateful chickens that thank us when we give them treats, follow us around, they don't leave the yard, provide us with colorful breakfast, and warn us of a predator nearby. Our peacocks are beautiful and young with so much personality. We have a white one and a colorful one. Lily is our black bernedoodle. She is an amazingly smart dog with many tricks, and a great family dog that also lets us know if someone is nearby.
We are grateful for all the veterans to include the men and women in the service currently. We have a soft spot in our hearts for the elderly, disabled, and children too.
We are honest, loyal, trustworthy, respectful and determined. We instill all of these qualities in our children too. We enjoy spending time with our families and helping people when we can.
Rebecca is Native American, part of a well-known tribe (hence the dreamcatcher as our logo). Putting our trust in nature to help us has been very rewarding. Following the values of the culture to protect and embrace our natural world, including our hemp crop(s)- is the most important for us. When we think of just the word “Native”, we think of pure. This is exactly what we want to offer, and value. We will continue to stick to this value. We put our trust in all-natural options to get us through producing our end product, and hopefully able to show you what we can offer following these values.
We also chose the name because our farm is native to Wisconsin and the beautiful Germantown area. We also both grew up in our Badger state.
With the combination of these ideas, it made the perfect fit for our business name.
